Spain should be grateful to Gibraltar

Spain has to learn to be thankful for Gibraltar.

Spanish government and some spanish people need to learn to be thankful and appreciate what Gibraltar does for their people. At present we have over 10,000 Spanish people working in Gibraltar. This means ten thousand less on their unemployment figures!

There is a spanish saying - Don't bite the hand that feeds you!" Spain and its people would do well to take hold and listen!

Gibraltar is getting fed up of the constant bullying and harassment and especially the bad press coverage for anything to make Gibraltar or the people look bad!

We have had enough of this and we keep trying to emphasize that we have no problem with the Spanish People it is the ploys from their government. However, spanish people like the person below just gets us all wound up! Not just us the people of Gibraltar but the spanish workers in Gibraltar who then have to put up with consequences that this unintelligent person actions does cause!

Why do I say unintelligent? Simple - if the Andalusia region has one of the highest unemployment why call for the border to close - does this man not realise that closing the frontier will affect ten thousand families who have no work available for them in Spain and hence why they come to Gibraltar to work?

The Spanish cross border workers association is trying so hard to ensure relationships between us remain as they are friendly and this man and his actions just rub salt to the wound that is growing by the constant bullying tactics from Spain a bigger nation than our Gibraltar!
 


 What we need is to make people aware of what good Gibraltar is offering people who live in Spain!

Also what we need is people from around the world who have representatives in countries that have a say in UEFA to raise awareness about our Gibraltar Football Association and how politics should not stop us gaining membership again!
