Spanish Government continue to lie and continue to cause Border queues for political means - INHUMANE!
Another day!Really do people all over Europe believe it is acceptable that Spain creates these queues in Gibraltar as people finish work and try to leave to go home from a hard day's work? Inhumane treatment and no consideration of children - the elderly or the disabled! It was very hot and no shade unless you were at the very back under the airport!

It is cruel and an action that needs to be stopped by Eu and UK now before we have a death!
This is why we need to stop SPAIN getting into the UN Security Counsel!
Please help us to fight that this does not happen!
Spain is seeking a seat in the UN Security counsel and as such we demand that UK veot this ASAP!

The pedestrian, Cards, Motorbikes and bicycles all queues caused by Spain on purpose for politcal motivated scheming!
Really is this acceptable? Where else in Europe - part of Schengen or not does this happen?
Proof of hte injustice and inhumane queues created!
The pedestrian queue was worse than any other day - even the queues for cars and bikes were quicker! How can anyone state it is normal? I travel Europe and do not see these queues anywhere!

OVER AN HOUR QUEUE FOR PEDESTRIANS
Pedestrians crossing into Spain have been made to wait for over an hour this evening. Spanish checks have seen thousands of commuters form long queues in the sun. They started building up from about 4.30.
By 6.30, the Royal Gibraltar Police estimated those on foot were taking more than sixty minutes to cross into La Linea. There were six lanes of cars filling half the loop; they were also made to wait about an hour. Queues built up for those on motorbikes and bicycles also.
The pedestrian queues persisted until about half past seven.

With all the proof above how can anyone deny the truth! Yet Spain continue to try to deny it:
Margallo tells Malmström frontier queues not politically motivated

Spain has claimed that it's fully complying with the European Commission's frontier recommendations and that the queues that "sometimes" build up are in no way politically motivated. That's what the Spanish Foreign Minister, José Manuel García Margallo, has told the EU's Home Affairs Commissioner Cecilia Malmström at a meeting in Madrid.

Margallo tells Malmström frontier queues not politically motivated

Mr. Margallo claimed the
frontier controls are in place because of significant smuggling
activity, and are necessary because Gibraltar is not in the EU's
Schengen Area. He gave Mrs Malmstöm details of the steps the Spanish
Government is supposedly taking to comply with the recommendations made
by the EC following its familiarisation visit to the frontier last year.
The Minister said special attention was being paid to the problems
experienced by Spanish workers in Gibraltar.
Regarding the African migrants situation Mr Margallo suggested this is an EU rather than a national problem, for which Mediterranean countries should receive political, legislative and financial help.
